I've never met a stranger. Having an outgoing personality helps me in
the real estate business, but it's not the only quality I've developed
in my pursuit of excellence. A good real estate agent knows how to value
a property and visualize a dream or an idea. A great agent also knows
how to handle every detail for the client, whether this involves working
with contractors, inspectors, or lawyers. Most importantly, I know how
to listen, I'm persistent, and I have a good, old fashioned work ethic.
These combined qualities have enabled me to build successful
relationships with clients.
I've lived in the Washington, DC area since 1987, when I was a
student at Howard University. I have worked in community group homes for
the mentally disadvantaged, the travel industry, for several law firms
and even on Capitol Hill. I've started several successful businesses. So
why am I now in real estate?
When I purchased my first home, I found it was extremely difficult to
repair my home with a 203(k) loan. Solving my own problem taught me
something very important: I realized I have a knack for navigating
smoothly through a wide range of real estate transactions. I also truly
enjoy helping people. I realized my talents would be best utilized in
the real estate industry.
I've been in real estate since 1999. I know the area, I know the
business, and I understand how to work for you to make the most of your
experience. Whether you're nervous about the tough seller's market out
there, or excited about the prospect of buying a new home, I can help.
